Maps on the Gathering

There are a few custom maps on The Gathering you may wish to down load all of these can be found at JKAfiles.com

HotelCoruscant: This map is ok its good for a nice game of Hide and Kill.

Jedi's Home 1 and 2: These maps are a classic must have lots of secrets and great for several games. Including Attack the Base, Hide and Kill, FFA, Uber Merc Hunt, Duals, and Testing for clans.

Lotsship2; This map is great for thoes that like a space battle.

Matty_Quad: This map is huge bright and well worth the time. matty is one of the legends and his map shows why.

Serenity: this map is small but im a huge FireFly fan so I use it once in a while. Its god for the RP ppl

The_Academy_V3: This map is so versitile I wont bother to list its use. get it!

I will be adding more later to day.

Ok new maps for testing

Bingstation: Sucks and is going to be deleted. it takes for ever to load and is really boring.

ffa_tsodbeta: Has potential.

frozen_temple: Good map must use

Imperial_abandoned_base: This is very small and not worth the time.

Spacefighter_factory: This looks good but is lacking something i dont see it being used that much or at all.

sun and sky: Nice dual map but is waqy small kind of pointless. Will delete its off server .

antioch: This map is nice but i wish you could go in the buildings. would make a nice RP map though.

senatu_sanctuary: Limited use rather disapointing.

Out of all of these i think the Frozen temple is the best let me know what you all think and what ones to keep.

That's the map I was speaking of earlier. It's made for makermod building, but can be used for lugormod as well.

Basically, it's a blank map. One sky, one floor.

It may be interesting to see what variations each builder could create.

It's a huge map, so god only knows what you could do with it. Individual cities! Forget teleports, make people actually drive across the desert to get to the next one. If you don't like the desert texture, I suppose one of the trip forest floor textures could be used as well.

The smaller boxes can be built in, on, or around. The bix ones can be used to make cliffs or mountains.

lets use mah tear apart map!

its made for lugormod, its a box, and everything except the sky is an ent.

so you could place water, hills, ect.

Also, a couple of maps I would suggest:

SGEgypt - Very creative Stargate-based map

Giant's House - An interesting and unique design. Truly enjoyable in appearance. I can already thing up some awesome stuff that can be done with it.

Jurancor Park - Oh man, where do I start. This map... it's just great. One of the best JKA maps ever made.

What map is fort9? Nobody can get on TheGathering right now. XD

Ok you all should be able to get on. Now as for the SgEgypt and the Jrancor Park we have had both of them on the Gathering befor they took for ever to load and wernt popular. Im a huge SG fan and Firefly fan i wish there was a really good SG map pack "yes I have downloaded them all" The atlantis map was lacking but was a good attempt.

I will upload maps for consideration and post the results on them. I may even start a review section just for maps. Pm me or Post maps you think might be good and we will see. I still need to upload that empty map I will try to get to that before this weekend.
